Second Pillar
One of the Alpha Pi Phi pillars is leadership. Alpha Pi Phi has a number of positions available to its members, including officer positions like President, Vice-president, and Treasurer. Within those officers, positions are chairs, some of these include Social Chair, Risk Management Chair, and Fundraising Chair. Each leadership role is important to the creation of Alpha Pi Phi Mu Chapter and to maintain its function. Elections for these various roles are held every semester, with the larger roles being every other semester.
These positions are not only important to the foundation of Alpha Pi Phi but also to our members being able to build their leadership skills. As well as gaining knowledge of other important skills such as social media knowledge, event planning, philanthropic organization and more.

Being confident is an important part of being a successful leader. In order to do well in interviews or presentations, it is key to have confidence in yourself and your abilities. Alpha Pi Phi strives to encourage its members to be confident and feel assured of themselves and all that they are capable of. Being confident is an important part of being a successful leader. Be Outspoken

While your opinions may not always be the most popular, that does not mean your voice should not be heard. Leaders must share their ideas, knowing that there is value in their thoughts. Alpha Pi Phi seeks to give its members the tools they need to be outspoken and confident in their words. We strive to always give our sisters the space to voice their opinion and share their thoughts.
Stand Up For Your Beliefs

It is important for a leader to have the ability to stand up for themselves. To be confident in their skills and abilities and with that to have the knowledge that their ideas are valued. Standing up for yourself may be difficult, but Alpha Pi Phi creates an environment where sisters can feel their voices are always heard and respected.
Be A Leader

A leader is someone who is confident, bold and sticks to their beliefs. Alpha Pi Phi builds leaders by giving its members roles and responsibilities which help to mold them into the kind of person it takes to lead.
